His professional experience includes 6 years as a researcher at the Julius K\u00fchn-Institut (JKI) (Braunschweig, Germany) and more than 14 years as researcher at the Department of Biology and the Centre for Environmental and Marine Studies (CESAM) (University of Aveiro, Portugal). He has already participated in the creation of different start-ups.
